Power Transformers
A power transformer is an electrical device that converts an alternating voltage and current to the required value. The operation of the device is based on the effect of electromagnetic induction, appearing in the windings, resulting in these current parameters increase or decrease, depending on the configuration of the device. Three-Phase Transformers
Three-phase transformers are used for power supply from a 3-phase network. The windings of three-phase transformers are connected by a star or a triangle. Transformers allow lowering the mains voltage and simultaneously increasing the load current. Ferroresonant Transformers
The ferroresonant transformer, originally designed to work as a voltage regulator, is a combination of two magnetic circuits with a weak coupling between them. The output circuit contains a parallel oscillatory circuit, fed from the primary circuit to compensate for the power entering the load. Toroidal Transformers
Toroidal transformers are built around a donut-shaped core, which, depending on operating frequency, is made from a long strip of silicon steel or permalloy wound into a coil, powdered iron, or ferrite.
